Feng Shui design helps you to take beneficial and effective actions in your home or living space so that your house can have an optimal flow of Chi.

The Feng Shui design ideas discussed in this article can help Feng Shui beginners to understand some of the fundamental principles of Feng Shui as well as how they can apply for the principles and enhancing their homes and lives.

Like the positive and negative energies (yin and yang) existing in nature, every room and every home has both positive and negative areas. There are strengths that already exist, just as there are weaknesses. The Feng Shui design changes that are carried out in a house are always meant to help enhance the weak areas and decrease Chi that is too strong, ultimately yielding a balanced, harmonious feeling that is the cornerstone of a contented and successful life

Feng Shui Design And Power Areas

A concept commonly used in a Feng Shui design is the idea of 'power' areas. Feng Shui recognizes nine power areas inside buildings—some have excellent supportive energy, some are much less favorable.

A power spot is an area of the home which can be as big as a room or as small as a tiny little nook, but this particular area has strong associations with your life (or parts of your life) that mean a great deal to you at a particular point in a given time frame. Feng Shui power spots are unique to each person, family and home. They are determined not only by the things that are going on in a person's life presently but also by the design and architecture of their particular living space.

According to Feng Shui, power spots are unique to each person, family and home and some of these are determined not only by the things that are going on in your life right now but also by the design and architecture of your particular living space.

Article Body:
Feng Shui has tried, true, and time tested wealth strategies that integrate theories based on Feng Shui Elements. Feng Shui colors and tools such as the Feng Shui Baguato provide followers the secret keys to lasting prosperity. If you did a Feng Shui Study, you would be fascinated by the relationship Feng Shui establishes between the bathroom and wealth. Read on and you will not only help you discover new ways to improve prosperity but will also provide to deepen your understanding of this popular practice which has strong spiritual and scientific basis

Even if you're a Feng Shui beginner, you're probably familiar with Feng Shui bagua (Feng Shui map of a space), and know that family area is a good place for the living room, or that a Feng Shui office is best placed in the knowledge, wealth or career sectors. You may also know that Feng Shui bed room is best placed in the marriage corner of the Feng Shui house.
But do you know where the Feng Shui bathroom should be located if you're seeking wealth? Probably not but that's o.k. This article on Feng Shui bathroom wealth was written specifically to highlight the importance of a 'Feng Shui bathroom ' — how it can increase or decrease wealth in your home.

As most of the Feng Shui practices have strong scientific basis, there are two important rules of thumb that you need to remember when deciding the location of a bathroom. First you need to know that, the bathroom and toilet are primarily governed by and driven by the element Water. In Feng Shui, Water is associated with wealth, prosperity, career and good cash flow. Secondly, you should keep in mind that bathrooms are associated with elimination and waste. With these two considerations in mind, it is easier to understand the main rules that apply to the layout and location of this space.

Without a clearly marked out space in Feng Shui bagua, the bathroom is a little out of place anywhere, but thanks to the time tested Feng Shui wisdom, you can easily identify problems with your bathroom (cash flow blockages, drained finances, etc.) that are detrimental to your wealth (it can block your cash flow, drain your finances, and add to your financial stress). Although some of locations are more troublesome than others, one of the best Feng Shui tips to keep in mind here is that a defective bathroom plumbing has a draining effect wherever it is located.

According to traditional Feng Shui some bathroom locations which can have negative effect on your wealth. These locations include:

Bathrooms next to or above the front door.
Bathrooms on the second floor directly above the kitchen or front door
Bathrooms in the center of the office
Bathrooms under the stairs

It may seem restrictive but the reasons are sound when you reason using Feng Shui principles. For instance a bathroom in the front hall, close to the door, or a bathroom at the end of straight hall way can drain Chi away before it has a chance to circulate through the rest of the house.

Expressions of Sympathy

Expressions of Sympathy

Word Count:

Summary:
This article explains the emotional impact of expressions of sympathy.

Keywords:
sympathy, condolence, funeral, wake, death

Article Body:
Even the most talkative and eloquent among us are often at a loss for words when it comes to helping people deal with the death of someone close to them.  We want to express our sympathy, our sharing of their feelings, but we don't know how to do it.  Words can be comforting, but they're also fleeting.  So we turn to more tangible expressions of sympathy.

Sympathy gifts come in many forms.  A card with a thoughtful message is often the first thing we seek.  There is a surprising array of choices to be made when selecting a card.  The natural inclination is often to pick a card that reflects the giver's beliefs as opposed to focusing on those of the bereaved.  Some sympathy cards contain short generic messages and are appropriate for acquaintances such as co-workers with whom one does not have a close personal relationship.  Other cards reflect religious or spiritual themes, which may bring great comfort at such a difficult time.  The final type of card emphasizes the friendship between the giver and receiver.  These cards assure the receiver that a true friend will be ready to provide support in any way possible.

We shouldn't underestimate the long-lasting impact a sympathy gift will have on the recipient.  This point was driven home for me when I gave a plant to a co-worker.  (It was spring and I was transplanting recently rooted baby spider plants to share with friends and acquaintances.)  The next day she told me that she had cried when she brought it home and put it on her table.

It turned out that her father had died several years earlier.  At that time, someone gave her a plant as a sympathy gift.  Watching the plant grow and burst with life over the years always comforted her by reminding her of the energy and enthusiasm for life her father had displayed.  Did that gift giver have any idea of the power of that simple condolence gift  - that it would console her for years?

Unbeknownst to me, a couple weeks before I offered her that new little plant, her old one had died and she had to dispose of it.  It upset her to see that empty place on the table every day.  She told me that when she brought home my plant and placed it in its spot, it was like that life and energy returned, once again reminding of her in a positive way of her father.

Though it may be difficult to express our sympathy at times, we should all take comfort in knowing that the gestures we make and tokens we give in sympathy are gifts that really will comfort the hearts and souls of the recipients.

Evolutionary Becoming

Summary:
The evolution of all aspects of humanity. Our purpose here on Earth. Soul's choice to evolve or not--proper place for all according to the Cosmic scheme.

Keywords:
metaphysics, philosophy, theosophy, evolution, humanity, consciousness, spirituality, Masters, wisdom

Article Body:
Evolution is the movement of energy toward a higher expression or manifestation of a higher complex structure. Energy is always kinetic, though it may appear at times to be static or potential; it is constantly in movement, ceaselessly forming and transforming its structure into something that it was not before. Thus, whatever appears as form, as an energy-structure, is always in a state of flux or becoming. This may not be apparent outwardly to the senses, but it is inherently so in the atomic and subatomic levels. This becoming may result in an improvement or degradation of what it was before. Nature always work along the lines of evolution, even if degradation or involution seems to be evident. This is the mystery of the principle of Shiva, the destroyer, working to break things down so that a new cycle of growth may be implemented by Brahma, or the creative principle. Vishnu is the stabilizer principle. This principle maintains the creative expression until its purpose or mission has been attained or fulfilled, it then devolves its work to the Shivaic principle of destruction. The Shivaic principle is catabolic while the Brahmic principle is anabolic. The process may be illustrated thus:

                                                                                      Brahma (Creation
Being (The Absolute) -->Motion -->Change or Becoming-->Vishnu (Preservation)-->Evolution
                                                                                      Shiva (Destruction)

Evolution may be considered from the physical or metaphysical aspect. In occult circles, it is often customary to consider man's growth from the metaphysical or spiritual standpoint. Man as a microcosm possesses various components in his holistic being, and each component or aspect is constantly being transmuted to a higher or lower expression--to a more refined or coarse state, to a higher or a lower vibration, to a more sublime or degraded condition. Above we said that Nature always work along the lines of evolution even if degradation seems apparent. This also applies to human beings. We may sometimes cause ourselves to temporarily retrograde by being periodically despondent, depressed and negative; however, this should be a period of introspection in order to build a new condition of value, to reinforce our spiritual connection with our Source; still, the problem is that some would sustain this state of retrogression, the status quo, and not bounce back to a balanced condition, or to be centered in one's spiritual nature. This is opposing the natural evolutionary current. Those that cooperate with Nature will evolve much more quickly than those who oppose her. It is like swimming against the current. How do we cooperate with Nature? By first knowing and understanding her laws and how they may be implemented; by being aware of her forces and how they may be harnessed and applied creatively; by knowing how to align oneself with the higher purpose of being.

All of the kingdoms of nature with the "exceptions" of the kingdom of human beings and the other higher kingdoms have external agencies and Intelligences directing their evolutionary growth. Animals, for instance, do not have conscious control over their soul-growth, they are dependent upon the creative Intelligence called "group-spirits" in the direction of their evolution and the tending after their welfare. In spiritual parlance we call these group-spirits, "angels." That angels are behind the innate intelligence of animals may possibly be ridiculed by orthodox science, however, from metaphysical investigations this is indeed a fact. It often surprises us, even to non-animal lovers, of the intelligence and creativity displayed by God's creatures. That animals are controlled, directed, taught, or inspired by angelic agencies may explain the phenomenon of the "100th Monkey Syndrome." It has been observed that even though a creature be separated by miles of water from members of its species, when it learns something new this new information is somehow relayed to these other members living elsewhere. This could be explained by animal telepathy, however, the angelic guardian theory is equally valid.

Unlike animals and the nature spirits, or the creatures of the etheric and astral realms, human beings may well personally participate and cooperate with Nature in accelerating their evolutionary growth should they desire to do so. In fact personal participation is advisable because even though we actually live in an eternal, timeless state, and "lots of time" to evolve, there is a cosmic timetable that we should deeply consider. This can be compared to the situation that we have in our educational system. We can progress from level to level according to the educational plan and ultimately fit ourselves in society, or we can stay back year after year at the same level without any personal development or the desire to progress. In the latter situation we cause our growth to be stagnated; on the other hand, if we work hard enough, we would progress and mature in concordance with the system.

The above illustration applies to our present world situation. We are spiritually at the brink of the closing of a certain cosmic timetable--a certain planetary and solar cycle. If we do not accelerate our consciousness, uplift our spirits, raise our vibrations and frequency, express our divinity, evolve the components constituting our microcosmic being, and liberate ourselves from the entrapment of matter, then we may find ourselves ousted from the progressive wave of humanity and directed to stay in a cosmic situation that would probably cause some psychological torture. Concisely, we become spiritual laggards if we do not evolve with our spiritual group. In the closing cycle, if we spiritually progress we enter into the "Kingdom of the Gods." If we lag behind in consciousness and spirituality, we would not follow the progressive ones but maintain our pathetic condition in the Kingdom of Human Beings, and perhaps not on this planet. The spiritual harvest mentioned in Holy Writ will indeed take place. In the Scriptures we are told that there would be a separation between goats and sheep, between wheat and weeds. Scientifically, there would be a radical "natural selection" in the near-future based upon soul-frequency. Those vibrating at a frequency-range above the specified level would be "saved." Conversely, those vibrating below the specified level would not make the grade.

Why are we on Earth, and why on earth are we here? Evolution is an eternal creative Cosmic law. It is a creative expression of Being--or at our level--truly being what we are. This applies to all entities or Intelligences of the omniverse. Evolution, therefore, is God's plan and purpose for us all. Flowing with the evolutionary current reveals more and more of what we are and our relationship with the Whole, with the One, with All That Is. This is the reason why man incarnated in the physical plane. Humanity is here to evolve their Divine Self-awareness, their rememberance of who they really are, and quicken their sense of oneness with the illusory, fragmentary parts of the Whole.

Because of the resistance and inertia of matter, the physical plane offers a unique platform in assisting and quickening soul-growth. One would not evolve as quickly in the higher dimensions as one would in the physical realm, for in the higher dimensions time and space are non-existent, and astral substance is easily moldable by the mind and the will. In the higher realms there is no struggle or effort needed to exist and subsist, hence, not much unfoldment of divine qualities that would evolve the soul. It is different in the physical dimension. Here we must be active in supporting and maintaining life, in establishing ourselves in the world, in producing values that would improve mundane conditions, in manifesting heaven on earth. Such tasks unfold the many divine characteristics lying dormant or latent in our soul-being. Our spiritual task is not solely to free ourselves from karma or to liberate ourselves from the wheel of reincarnation, for at one time we were free from those two conditions and the ties of the lower worlds, and yet, we "fell" and descended into the physical world. Why was this done? What purpose did we have for doing this?

The majority of human beings are lost in the waves and turmoil of life. They live aimless lives like automatons, or like those vegetating in a comatose state. Their actions are automatic and reactive with very little conscious direction. Thus they do not participate or are desireless in the acceleration of their personal evolution. They are dependent upon "authority" figures that promise "the easy way" for their personal well-being. They accept all input coming from these authorities without first screening them with the rational mind. Beliefs and dogmas are accepted over facts and truths. This is subconscious conditioning or brain-washing and it de-empowers an individual. It is rather difficult for a person under such a condition to be aware of what is actually occurring to him. When faced with the truth these individuals get overly-defensive and would do anything in their power to stifle truth by destroying its promulgators. These individuals become fanatics and are often a danger to themselves and to society.

The subconscious mind seems to be a strong influence in most people. This subconscious preponderance, or the mind functioning in this particular mode whereby it is controlled by subconscious impulses is identified as "the bicameral mind" by Dr. Julian Jaynes in his book, "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind."

Spiritually, it is the conscious mind that has to be in control and the director of one's life and not be enslaved by negative subconscious urges. Our conscious mind must, however, be attuned with the superconsciousness in order to acquire guidance and give creative and productive directions to the lower mind. The bicameral mind, or the subconscious mind is a terrible master but an excellent servant. The function of the subconscious mind is to take directions and orders from the conscious mind and to carry-out tasks that Nature has programmed into it. If these directions are not given by the conscious mind, then the sub-consciousness will take its orders from external sources, whether these sources be subliminally or telepathically given by other human beings or astral agencies. By letting this occur we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, manipulated, and controlled. As a result we become dependent upon the authority figures in the field of religion, politics, education and many others for our spiritual and secular well-being. This is giving our power, energy and funds away to others. Metaphysics teaches us how to be a master of life and not to be mastered by others who are only seeking self-aggrandizement and self-glory. We can cite one instance in which propaganda in the field of medicine tells us that a substance or a product is beneficial to our health, however, in reality offers us no real value whatsoever. We believe in authority figures for they are supposed to be the "experts."

The mind plays an important role in one's life. With our mind we produce thoughts that either enslave us to a state of inertia and retrogression or to a state of mortal freedom and spiritual progression. Occultly, the mind can either be the slayer of the Real or the liberator from the false. The former condition causes stagnation in our evolution whereas the latter releases us from the state of mortality and mediocrity. We are meant to be gods--Holy Scriptures have emphasized this again and again. This is where our evolution is heading. By being gods we enter the Kingdom of Heaven--this is where the gods dwell, however, this should be understood figuratively, for heaven and hell are not places but certain states of consciousness and awareness. Transforming ourselves into gods, or being perfect human beings are not mere idealistic dreams as some people would think. Many have reached this state and we can read about them in literature--in the so-called myths and legends of every culture. Only recently, relatively speaking, did knowledge concerning them spread all over the world in Occult, Theosophical and New Age literature. More and more people have come to realize the existence of these super-beings called Masters and Adepts, and our innate potential to attaining similar states.

One could well be skeptical concerning the existence of the Masters but some careful thought would prove that these perfect human beings must exist. For instance, look around us. Do we not sometimes come across someone who is a little more noble, more pure, more wise, more loving than others? And on the other side of the coin, do we not also come across persons who are more vile, lowly, foolish, crude, and uncouth? If some appear more perfect than others, is it not possible that there are those who are even higher on the scale of perfection? In our minds it is unthinkable to deny that this is not so.

What causes one person to be more perfect than another? Certainly it is related to the evolutionary process but why does Nature's evolutionary processes cause one person to far outstrip another? It is because some are not awakened as to their inner potential, or disbelief the truth of their divine being, and thus will not do anything to unfold it.

Some people live as though they would physically live forever, this can be seen by the way they accumulate and pile up their earthly treasures without the awareness that nothing is permanent and that death as a rule is inevitable. Although it is known, we often forget that everything will be given up at the time of death and that we take nothing along with us but what we are and what we have spiritually become.

People are often obsessed with the idea that they can own things or other people. This is a fallacy that not many individuals are able or willing to admit and look into. People seek to be rich, to be famous, to be popular, to be immortalized in history books and in the minds of men . . . and in such a frantic search or desire the true purpose of life is lost tracked of. To the writer's mind many of our concerns and preoccupations are irrational and out of skew or alignment with the evolutionary current. It is heart-breaking to see one's soul brother in the depth of the mire without their conscious realization and their rejection of one's offer for assistance. One's hand may be extended for assistance, but if there is no plea or call for help, or if the hand is not grasped, then nothing can be done except to standby and wait--sometimes to wait for many world cycles. The desire to progress must come from within although seeds may be planted in the prepared soil and nurtured daily hoping that the seed would sprout and see the light.

When one is ready to make that quantum leap to a higher consciousness, to accelerate one's evolution, and desire to get better acquainted with one's essential nature, one would attract the attention of the spiritual guides of humanity. Some of these beings reside in the higher dimensions instead of the earth plane, but no matter where they are, the spiritual aspirant unconsciously sends a signal out to them and they respond by directing the aspirant to certain individuals, books, metaphysical organizations or schools. The aspirant is introduced to the basics of the spiritual path. The teachings that master guides have to impart constitute the direct path of soul-unfoldment.

After evolving from beasthood, humanity is now lingering a little too long in its present consciousness level, or evolutionary state. The many problems of humanity may be traced to the stagnation of its present consciousness. The improvement of humanity and life as a whole is dependent upon the individual. We should first work upon our own unfoldment if we are to see beneficial permanent changes occurring in society. Manifesting a utopian civilization requires the improvement of the quality of human consciousness. This condition would improve one's genetic quality and metaphysically prevent the entry or embodiment of lower beings. Why? Because souls of a lower consciousness would have trouble running a complex physical organism. Metaphysics teaches the laws of spiritual-eugenics, and manifesting a spiritually-oriented, highly advanced technological race is one of its goals.

When lower beings no longer have the ability to incarnate in the human race, then there would no longer be any inharmonious condition on earth. There would no longer be any conflicts and wars. Love, peace, goodwill, and the brotherhood of men would be established as a living reality on Earth. This is not to say that beings of a lower consciousness will not evolve further. They would but at their own pace and in another planetary platform. This is essentially their soul choice.

Effect Of Prayers On Our life

Effect Of Prayers On Our life

What are prayers? To pray means to convey a request to God. Those who believe that there is no God, can still pray to the higher power in who they have belief.

Article Body:
What are prayers? To pray means to convey a request to God. Those who believe that there is no God, can still pray to the higher power in who they have belief. But to say that there is no God, makes us feel very lonely at times. At times of crisis, who will you approach? Your friends might have left you. Your family might have deserted you. Who is left? There is God.

What is the first effect of prayer? The first effect is that we at least begin believing that someone who can help us, is listening to us. That gives a great support. Because you no longer feel very helpless or lonely. You have got a friend who is all powerful and who can help you. With prayer we call for that help. The deeper the prayer, the earlier the help arrives. A prayer made in total faith can do wonders. But it all boils down to faith. And faith is a matter of individual belief. No science can comment about faith.

We send good wishes when some one falls sick or for someone who is facing tough times. How do prayers help in that situation? Here we are not making a selfish prayer, but asking for help for some one else. Collective prayers will surely reach God, and he will surely respond to them in his own way. His way may be different than our way, but respond he will. There is no doubt about that. This again is a matter of personal faith.

Imagine a man dying of cancer and family left with no hope. If every member of the family prays at that time, that member will also not feel very helpless and hope will always remain. Without prayers, all hope is lost. Wishing Good Luck, wishing for earlier recovery and inspiring a friend are all ways to connect with the higher power. Such wishes and prayers never go waste. Call God, and request him to help, the help will arrive if your prayer is made with faith and is heart felt.

Dumb Things People Say about Preaching on Stewardship

Dumb Things People Say about Preaching on Stewardship

Summary:
Because preaching about money and giving is so emotionally charged, people say some truly dumb things about it. This article gives one such example and shows from God's word why it is important to preach on giving.

We had just begun to pass the food around the table at Thanksgiving dinner last year when a friend of the family said, 'The reason our church's giving is good is because our pastor never preaches about money.' I responded as casually as I could, 'So you're saying that your church's giving is good because your pastor never preaches any of the countless biblical passages about money?'

She didn't answer me and I let the conversation flow in other directions. But I was struck with the absurdity of her statement. Assuming that a church's giving is good because the pastor neglects to preach any of the 2,350 Bible verses on money is like saying, 'The reason our people are honest is because our pastor never preaches what God's word says about honesty.' Or, 'The reason our young people are sexually pure is because our pastor never preaches what the Bible says about sexual purity.' Or, 'The reason our church is committed to evangelism is because our pastor never preaches any of the biblical passages that command us to share the gospel.'

If we were to follow this twisted reasoning to it's logical end, we would have to conclude that the secret of making godly disciples is for the pastor to never preach anything from the Bible!

Apparently, this woman--who has attended church for over five decades--assumes that preaching on money and giving is bad. Therefore, since her pastor is 'godly' enough to avoid the subject, God is rewarding her church with adequate financial resources.

When Paul commanded Timothy to 'Preach the word...in season and out of season' (2 Tim. 4:1, 2), he didn't include a clause excluding the topic of money. Instead, he made a point to urge Timothy to preach the word when it was convenient and popular and when it was not--'in season and out of season.' No matter how unpopular we imagine our preaching on financial stewardship will be (usually people actually appreciate it), we have not been given the freedom to edit out this part of God's word.

Based on the Apostle Paul's example, God has not given preachers the option of shrinking from teaching what His word says about giving. Twice in one speech Paul made the following claims:

"I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable..." (Acts 20:20)

"For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God." (Acts 20:27)

If we fail to teach biblical principles of giving, we rob our people of the profit they could receive from knowing and practicing the truth. Don't shirk your responsibility to declare the whole purpose of God.

And don't be paralyzed by the dumb things some people say about preaching on stewardship. Just be faithful to teach the whole purpose of God (Acts 20:20, 27). When you do, God will bless your church with more financial and spiritual growth than you have ever imagined.

The spiritual evolution of the this planet and its inhabitants is currently in a rapid state of change, a new era is being born, and we are no longer content to be believers, as sheep in a "flock". People are waking up to the knowledge that we can be masters of our own destiny, and are looking to the ancient cultures who have survived to show us the way forward.

How can we break free from our definitions, when we are bound by systems, and rules and regulations, and "normal procedures" . What escape routes are there when all we know is all we have been taught. What is there outside the world we know, and how can we find it and finally be free.

Ancient knowledge and practices from Shamanism, Wicca, Vodou, Druidism and many others are being used and adapted to our modern lives to re-connect us to the worlds of spirit. We are re-discovering that everything in our universe has energy, consciousness, vibration and a power of its own, something the ancients have always known.

By lovingly connecting ourselves to this universal energy, we can know that everything within it has its own spirit, and is connected to everything else. Deep personal transformations can occur as we align ourselves to the loving universal consciousness, giving us back the power to create our own personal spirituality, and to KNOW spirit to the very core of our being.

"I don't believe, I know." Carl Jung.

"You are not my enemies, you are my brothers and sisters. You did not do anything to me or my people. All that happened a long time ago in the lives of our ancestors. And, at that time I might actually have been on the other side. We are all children of the Great Spirit, we all belong to Mother Earth. Our Planet is in great trouble and if we keep carrying old grudges and do not work together, we will all die." Chief Seattle.

"There is no one who can take our place. Each of us weaves a strand in the web of creation. There is no one who can weave that strand for us. What we have to contribute is both unique and irreplaceable. What we withhold from life is lost to life. The entire world depends upon individual choices." Duane Elgin.

Does Our Personality Has Free Will?

Article Body:
In this article, I am describing a spiritual realisation. It can be rather difficult and uneasy to read. But I hope to challenge the Reader to question upon what is generally being accepted as true.

The question for ponderance is this: Does our personality has free will?

Below is my findings on this very important subject. Reading it may change the way you understand yourself. Please proceed with caution!

The thoughts in our mind come and go... we can't stop them, we can't will them. For example: can we stop how we feel? When we are feeling sad, can we stop the sadness instantaneously? The answer is an obvious NO.

Our 'sense of self'... give us a sense of personal decision-making and action-taking ability... The 'sense of self' seems to be in charge of these actions and decision-making... but is this really the case?

My opinion is that the ego/personality has no personal free-will. The sense of self is caused by the impression of continuity and connectivity of thoughts that gives the impression of coherence and personal-willing. In another word, the sense of self IS the sequence of thoughts itself... that is interspersed with the intelligence that make coherent meaning of this sequence of thoughts. This can be realised within deep meditation, when the arising of thoughts are clearly perceived... In such meditation, one will discover that there is really NO observer of these thoughts. The subsequent thoughts that arise after the previous thought are the 'observation' of their predecessors. All these are happening at lightning-fast rate, and therefore is perceptible only under deep clarity.

My view is that only the soul/oversoul/source has free-will... because it is the state that held the impulses and intentions/desire/purpose for the incarnated personality. But, ironically... part of the soul/oversoul/source itself may not have a 'sense of self'.

'Sense of self/ego/personality' is only a part of the entire field of consciousness. The 'sense of self' is not the doer... it is part of the 'being done'.

However, this realisation does not imply that all in existence is fixed and static. In fact, the opposite is true. The visible (our conscious self/personality) works in partnership with the formless/invisible, in order to realise the potentials into physical manifestations. All of physical manifestation that is perceptible are in fact already 'being accomplished.'

Thanks for reading.

Connor, a man in his late 40's, has achieved everything he ever thought he needed to feel happy and secure. He owns a successful business, has a wonderful wife and two children, and a beautiful home. Yet when you look at him, he doesn't look happy. He looks empty, with no sense of vibrancy about him.

His wife, Brianna. also has everything she ever wanted – a husband, children, financial security, successful work and a beautiful home. When you look at her, you see a person filled with aliveness and vitality, friendliness and joy.

What is the difference? Why are these two people, each who have the same outer things, so very different in their energy? The answer is that Brianna has a strong connection with God while Connor has no spiritual connection at all.

The longer I've worked as a counselor, the easier it has become for me to tell the difference between people who know and experience God and people who don't. It is the difference between Connor and Brianna. It is the difference between being full from the inside or inwardly empty.

It's not that Connor doesn't want to experience God. He says he really wants to. He sees the difference between him and Brianna and he says he wants what she has. He sees his parents as empty and he says he doesn't want to end up like them, with no sense of passion or purpose in their lives.

Yet Connor does not experience God, and the reason is simple: he places a higher priority on having control over money, employees, what people think of him, his wife, and his children than on being a loving human being. He says he wants to be loving, and the times he is loving he feels great, but it never lasts because his desire to control is greater than his desire to be loving. He is afraid if he is loving to himself and others his business will suffer, he will have less money, he will lose friends. His ego wounded self tells him that if he is open and loving, he will be taken advantage of, and that is the last thing he wants. So his primary intention is to protect against what he fears rather than to be loving.

God is love, the spirit of love, the energy of love. That love is always here for us when we open our heart. Our heart opens automatically when our intent is to learn what is loving to ourselves and others rather than protect against what we fear with our controlling behavior. To know God is to know Love. To know Love is to know God.

When Brianna looks at Connor with love, Connor feels afraid and turns away. If he opens to her love, he fears he will be vulnerable to being hurt. Maybe she won't like what she sees if he is open and will reject him. Maybe she wants more than he wants to give. Maybe she just wants to suck the life out of him like his mother did. Protecting against his fears is more important to him than being loving and sharing love with Brianna. Brianna loves Connor but is often lonely with him because he is afraid to share love with her. Connor complains that he doesn't feel good a lot of the time – he feels empty. He avoids his emptiness with food and TV, which doesn't bring him joy.

Connor complains that he doesn't know how to experience God. I tell him it's not about how, it's about intent. When his deepest desire is to be loving rather than controlling, he will easily and naturally experience God. It's all about intent. Our intent is what we have choice over. Our intent governs how we live, who we choose to be, how we behave. Our intent to love and learn about love opens our heart to the experience of God.

If you feel empty, consider that it may be more important to you to control than to love. If you know others who appear to be empty, consider that it may be more important to them to control than to love.

Opening to love does not mean that we will be vulnerable to being hurt, manipulated, taken advantage of. In fact, the opposite can happen: in experiencing God, we receive the wisdom and strength to know what is good or bad for us, what is right or wrong for us. In opening to God, we discover what is in our highest good. It is far safer than relying on our wounded ego self. Opening to the Love that is God through your intent to learn can bring you the deep sense of fullness and safety for which your heart and soul have always yearned.

Knowing one's true SELF

We often identify ourselves with our physical body, with our emotions, and with our mind. These three principles represent our personality. We are often led to believe that the personality is the Self, whereas it is simply a persona, a mask that the Soul wears that it may function in the lower dimensions. The personality is mortal and subject to change. It is not the permanent part of our being. Should we identify with the personality we assume the characteristics of mortality with its sense of limitation and lack. In the long run we lose our true sense of identity. We feel that our identity is somehow displaced and know no longer what we are. By this false identification we block the entry of spiritual forces into the lower aspect of our microcosmic being. We also close our consciousness from higher perception and awareness.

By knowing, being aware, and identifying ourselves with our Reality, we liberate ourselves from a sense of separation from God--which is spiritually impossible. We are God's expression; God is our essence. By essentially knowing our true Self, we come to realize God; we come to realize the infinite creative potentials that lie within our divinity. Please note, however, that what we mean by "true Self" is far different from the usual understanding of the term. It is not the hidden desires and characteristics that lie within the subconscious mind, nor is it what most artists normally refer to as their true self when they express themselves on canvas. The True Self is not the subconscious mind, nor the conscious mind alone. It is the Divine Spark's Cosmic Consciousness or God's Divine Awareness of Its inherent Existence and Bliss within the microcosm at a lower level, and in the macrocosm at a higher level. Always identify yourself with the God-Spark within you. Essentially, all of God's attributes are to be found within you as well.

Knowing Cosmic Laws that generates all the contents of the Omniverse

When we begin to know and understand the laws of our inherent existence we should begin to align ourselves and cooperate with Cosmic forces. We come to realize that the many beliefs and attitudes that govern our mundane existence are false and have no universal basis in truth. We learn that life is eternal and that our divine essence is immortal. By understanding Cosmic laws we would eventually come to understand our Self and the many roles that it plays in the world of form; we would also be able to differentiate between the Real and the unreal; that which is True and that which is False. We would grasp how and why our divinity should be expressed and manifested on the physical plane. Aside from this it will eventually dawn upon us that we are really one with God, one of God, and one as God; and that separation is simply an illusion. If God is everywhere present, he is also present within us. More accurately, everything is an expression of the Source of Life, and this includes us.

Knowing the Plan of God

Most of us live without a sense of purpose in life. To most people it is unknown that all human beings have a mission in life. The Divine Mind has a Plan for humanity, a Plan for Planet Earth and the Solar System. This Plan is related to the divine and eternal aspect of man. The more we understand this Divine Plan, the more we are impelled to assist in its manifestation and fulfillment. All of our thinking will be aligned with the Will of God. Every one is sojourning on this physical plane for the purpose of fulfilling his or her mission and manifesting the Divine Plan of God upon Earth. When we think in terms of this Plan we invoke the aid of higher forces and live in accord with God's Will. The "mortal will" should be set aside to channel the Divine Will. Our will would be to express God's Will as God's desire is to express our divine desire. By being cognizant and attentive of Cosmic Order and the Plan we begin to live in terms of selflessness, service, sacrifice and the elimination of egoistic qualities for the good of all. Knowing the Plan of God expands our consciousness and helps us to see beyond mortal vision.

Knowing that there is no separation between Man, God and Nature

Our mortal sense of duality makes us assume a defensive-offensive attitude. We attack others due to a sense of separation and fear. We should begin to realize that there is only One Substance, One Power, One Mind, One Self in the Omniverse, and this One Progenitor manifests as the varied and manifold structures of energies that we perceive. Relatively speaking, the many phenomena and things that we cognize are all illusions. They are all expressions of the One. By knowing that every form is illusory and are merely appearances, that behind all realities is Energy, the One Universal Substratum that we call God, the Void, Universal Essence, etc, we will eventually begin to think, act and behave accordingly--according to Truth. We would know that to hurt another we would simply be hurting ourselves, that what we give out eventually returns to us. Always regard another as yourself, as a divine presence of God. The precept "Do unto others as you would others do unto you," is related to this principle.

Knowing that everything has a cause, has a purpose that the mortal mind may not know or understand.

To think divinely we should always keep in mind that nothing occurs without a purpose, that there are no accidents, or coincidences; that everything is based upon Cosmic law. Even-though consciously we may not know why things occur as they do, realize that everything will eventually have effects beneficial to soul-growth. The person who thinks divinely will never be overwhelmed with sufferings and sorrows for he or she knows the divine purpose of life through the constant attunement with the Divine Self.

Knowing that one's true SELF is already immortal and divine

Immortality need not be searched frantically for in dark places, for it is already a reality in the light of our Divine Presence. Death is not the end, nor is it a beginning. We conquer death by realizing its non-existence, its illusory nature. A Master once said that "that which is Real cannot be threatened, that which is false does not exist." The Self that we are is beyond hurt, pain, suffering, and sorrow. It is immortal and divine. When we are submerged in a "gloom and doom" attitude it signifies that we are identifying ourselves with all that is unreal in us. The Self, or its threefold nature--existence, consciousness and bliss, cannot be extinguished. By continuously thinking from this level, by maintaining our consciousness on this plane of thought--that our essential being, our Self is immortal--we strengthen the influence of our highest aspect upon the lowest vehicles of our microcosmic being.

Knowing that all experiences are of value to the soul

There is much that physical three-dimensional existence has to offer in terms of experience. There are things that cannot be experienced in the higher worlds that may be extracted from the material world. Evolution proceeds at a quicker pace when a life-stream is exposed to physical existence. In the spiritual planes the soul is hardly ever confronted with problems. Without challenges the soul does not evolve. Because of the density of matter, its resistance to the probing of the spiritual aspects of man, the physical world is an apt place for soul-unfoldment. Living in this three-dimensional plane unfolds the divine attributes and potentials within us such as courage, perseverance, patience, will-power, etc. It is for this reason that all our experiences, whether positive or negative, are beneficial to soul growth. They offer nourishment to our Higher Self. Therefore, in accord with this, we enforce the power of our divine thinking by extracting all that life has to offer and not indulging in any form of escapism or suicide. Perceive life from the point of view of the Self and not the personality. The personality simply wishes comfort, instant development, self-aggrandizement, and egoic power. The Self, or Soul is indifferent to external circumstances and experiences; it would regard everything and every experience as of value; its only wish is to acquire wisdom and extract spiritual nutriment from its earthly sojourn.

Knowing that attachment to the illusory worlds only cause man to sink deeper into spiritual forgetfulness and into the mire of materialism

As mentioned above, Master Jesus once told us to be in this world but not of it. As divine immortals we should not be tied to that which is false and illusory. When we pass through transition, when we shed off this mortal form, we do not take along anything with us that is false, so why should we be overly attached to them? Attachment causes pain and suffering. It makes us forget our Source and our true Identity. Attachment also causes false identification; it displaces the Self from its throne and causes many other egoic qualities to emerge. Attachment lowers one's soul-frequency to the level of the physical octave. It attracts particles of darkness to adhere and cohere in our lower microcosmic structure. In such a state it is difficult for spiritual liberation and the ascension to take place. The antidote to attachment is simply detachment which in Sanskrit is called "Vairagya." Why should we be attached to things that are impermanent in nature? Earthly possessions and conditions are transient. Things get lost, they get stolen, they spoil, etc. Knowing that nothing is perennial we should not get upset if their cycle of existence come to an end, even prematurely. In terms of relationships, non-attachment entails loving others unconditionally and impersonally, not caring whether our love is returned, or expecting any reward. We would simply desire the happiness of others even-though their happiness may not be sought in our own kisses and embraces. Our every thought, word, and action should be prompted out of unconditional and impersonal love. Non-attachment to things of this Earth help us maintain tranquility, calmness, and a clear rational mind. It paves the way for the expression of our Higher Self.

Knowing that one must do one's own thinking and not allow others to do the thinking for oneself
Dark and Negative forces do not desire the transformation of humanity into divinity, or man into god, they strive in various ways to hinder spiritual and evolutionary growth. Their most powerful weapons are thoughts and ideas, utilized for the control and manipulation of people's minds. They fill our minds with errors disguised as truth, and with dogmatic theologies represented with false spiritual façades. By subtle means the Dark ones would lure us away from our divinity into a lower expression. If we do not control our own conscious and subconscious minds, they will do so for us and lead us from the Real into the unreal, from Truth into falseness, from Light into darkness. We are easily mislead by authority figures falsely acting as emissaries of the Spirit. The bicameral or subconscious mind is easily controlled through feelings of fear, guilt and sin. As a disciple on the Path of Spirit it is necessary to think for oneself and to listen to the silent voice of the Soul reverberating within where one's immortality and divinity are proclaimed, where only perfection is affirmed. When we constantly listen to the voice of God within and not to the chaotic voices without we would progress quickly into the Kingdom of Light. Divine power lies within us that evil ones may not override unless through folly and ignorance we give-up what we have that they may control us and turn us into their helpless minions.

Knowing that life is omnipresent and is not limited to the physical dimension, or even on this planet
Life in this three-dimensional existence has made us forget many spiritual truths. One of these truths is that life is not confined to physical existence nor to this particular planet alone. God is Life, and since God is omnipresent, so life is to be found in every part of the omniverse--in every dimension, and in every celestial body. We may presume sentient life to be dependent upon certain conditions--upon certain chemicals, gases, the correct temperature, atmospheric pressure, and gravitational forces, etc. However, the life-force always finds a way of manifesting itself no matter what the conditions of the environmental surroundings or substances available as building blocks for the form. Immortals do not think in terms of limitation, confinement, or constraint. Everything in essence are infinite and perennial. Though Science and Religion may teach of a "beginning," Immortals are aware that any birth of activity in the universe is simply a commencement of a new cycle of manifestation. If we were to believe that life exists solely upon Earth and upon the physical plane, we would imprison our consciousness and prevent it from expanding and embracing Cosmic Consciousness. The mortal mind is incapable of apprehending infinities; the immortal mind, however, grasps the picture in an intuitive manner. Regarding that life is omnipresent and eternal releases the power of the Higher Self within us.

Knowing that fear and judgement are unnecessary and counterproductive
The Self is fearless. It knows itself to be beyond pain, hurt, and sorrow. That which fears is the elemental life or intelligence of the physical body. The mortal part of man, the persona of the Self, is in a constant state of tension and stress. It fears the loss of many things, but its main fear is the loss of its self-existence. Since the persona or the lower part of man is actually devoid of any soul or Self, this fear is unwarranted. Unless we identify ourselves with the eternal Self, this condition of fear of the persona or "lower self" will create psychological aberrations within us and influence our thoughts, feelings and behavior in a detrimental manner.

It is a delusion to judge appearances and that which has no real existence. In a spiritual sense, personal judgements comes from false reasoning; it is an expression of the false ego. All judgements are an expression of the dualistic mind that considers itself separate from the rest of the world, from Nature, from God. The Real Self does not judge, however it does discriminate or discern that which is Real and that which is unreal, that which is True and that which is false, that which is Absolute and that which is relative. Judgement and fear prolongs a mortal mentality as it blocks out the entry of spiritual forces and light into our system. They lower one's personal frequency and ossifies the mind. An Immortal filled with Love, Mercy and an Enlightened Mind, no longer expresses any fear or judgment. By casting out fear and the arrogantly passing of judgments upon our fellow beings we mentally prepare ourselves for the ascension and the realization of the state of immortality. The Master Jesus once said that by judging others we would in turn be judged. In one sense this could mean that we may possibly assume the condition that we pass judgement on. It is always best to see the Good in others, the God within them.

Knowing that there is no limitation--no time and space, etc, and that everything is possible to man as he was created in the image of God.

Man is a reflection of God, a microcosm of the macrocosm. All forces and powers of the greater universe lies within the lesser universe of Man. Every phenomena of Nature has its correspondence in the microcosmic being. Since God is boundless, infinite, and eternal, and knows no limitation, the essential Man, created in God's image is likewise unlimited. Man possesses all divine potentialities and possibilities; to think otherwise is to put a false constraint upon Man's spiritual evolutionary growth. Immortals do not think in terms of limitation and lack. They only know abundance and infinities. Time and space are realities in human consciousness but not actualities in the Divine Mind. They are in fact illusions--expressions of Maya. Immortals have transcended human consciousness and are one with the Divine Mind. Time and space are no longer hurdles to them. The first rule of overcoming time and space is the realization that they are false conceptions of the mortal mind and may be transcended by identifying with the Consciousness of God within Man. Thinking divinely implies thinking like God.

Knowing that humor and simplicity are divine qualities that need to be expressed
The higher one goes on the scale of evolution and the greater one becomes in spirituality, the more simple, child-like, and humorous one becomes. Immortals do not take themselves seriously, they know that every effort has its worth. Although the higher spiritual, and Cosmic beings are sweet and simple as compared to the psychological complexities of man, when it comes to the direction of planetary affairs of evolution, their wisdom and intelligence are far beyond the degree reached by humanity. Being simple and humorous eliminates many egoic qualities and raises one's consciousness to a higher spiritual plane. Seeing the humor in one's mistakes, expressions, and failures re-conditions and re-programs the conscious and subconscious minds with patterns of thought expressive of one's divine state of being.

Seeing perfection

While the dualistic mind sees imperfection everywhere, the Divine Mind only knows and visualizes perfection, beauty, purity, and goodness. Whatever we see, visualize and believe we maintain our focus and attention upon it. If we continuously look for imperfection we maintain its illusory existence in our consciousness. Energy follows thought. By thinking in terms of imperfection we eventually manifest that state or condition in the world of form. Conversely, if we were to visualize perfection we would be manifesting and out-picturing the divine archetypes that God has formulated in the celestial worlds upon the earthly plane. This is the manifestation of Heaven on Earth. Divine thinking entails manifesting one's immortal state, not simply in a spiritual, psychological manner, but in a physical fashion as well. By constantly visualizing, and believing in one's immortality we would eventually display it.

Making love the basis of one's habitual thought pattern and processes

Thinking divinely like an Immortal entails expressing the various virtues of Love, such as tolerance, kindness, benevolence, mercy, goodness, and purity. Our relationship with others, with Nature and with God should be motivated by the force of unconditional and impersonal Love. Think, speak, and relate to others with love. The power of the spoken word is expressed through the power of the Heart. Love is divine, and by expressing love we reveal and expose our divinity--the glory of God for all to see. Love, Life and Light transmutes our physical being at cellular and atomic levels. They transform and transfigure our being into a radiant vessel of Christ ("Nur Muhammad").

Conclusion

What are the benefits of divine thinking? Summarily, divine thinking unfolds the divine potentials lying latent or dormant within us. It contributes to the expansion of one's consciousness and the transmutation of one's lower mortal expression into a higher divine manifestation. Divine thinking liberates us from the wheel of rebirth and the transcendence of the realms of relativity. Physical immortality is a spiritual potential and divine thinking is a prime requisite in creating this possibility. Divine thinking raises us up to the level of the gods, it increase the rate of our personal vibrations or frequency to the energy-levels of the Adepts and Masters. Our personal evolution is accelerated as a result of thinking like an Immortal or a god. Human imperfection can only be surmounted by expressing the divine perfection within us. The first step that leads to this is Divine thinking.

Serapis Bey: "Men cannot build immortal bodies out   of mortal substance. They cannot build out of mortal thoughts immortal ideas.   They cannot build out of mortal feelings divine feelings that enfold the   world and create the great Pyramid of Life."

Divination Without Being Psychic

When we think about spiritual inquiring and divination, we often think that one needs to be psychic in order to do so. Well, that is not true.

If one is not psychic, how does one clarify spiritual-based queries about oneself? There are 2 methods that I know of, namely Applied Kinesiology and Pendulum Reading.

Using Applied Kinesiology or Muscle testing, it is possible to ask our own body and the soul/mind questions and get  'Yes' or 'No' responses. Applied Kinesiology works by gauging the reaction of certain muscle after asking the intended question. A strong response from the muscle means a 'Yes', while a 'No' will elicit a weak reaction. Uncertainty to a question will also yield a 'No' or weak response.

Applied Kinesiology can be performed alone or with the help of an assistant. One of the easiest way to muscle test is to use the arms.

For clear and accurate answers, the session needs to start with a space clearing to remove any potential negative influences. Space clearing is the process of purging an area of negative and stagnant energies. It often involves defining boundaries and using smoke or smudging to clear the area. There are books and Internet websites that teach Applied Kinesiology as well as space and entity clearing.

Besides Applied Kinesiology, Pendulum Reading is also a good alternative that does not require psychic ability. When used in conjunction with a YES/NO chart, the pendulum can be used to provide Yes/No response to queries.

In addition custom-made charts can also be tailored to very specific inquiries. For example, degree or percentage chart can be used to indicate degree of intensity.

Like Applied Kinesiology, the pendulum reading session needs to start with the clearing of potential negative influences for clear and accurate answers.

Well, these are the tools for divination and spiritual inquiry that doesn't need one to be psychic. In fact, one will be surprised at the ease of performing these divinations.

Happy experimenting...

Worry and anxiety can lead to infertility by shutting down the body's system and causing it not to function properly.

During my years of working with couples facing infertility I discovered that many couples who faced infertility were victims of worry, anxiety, and unforgiveness. I always deal with these issues first before anything else.

WHY? Because God did not design our body system for worry. The Bible tells us to: cast all our cares and anxiety on the Lord because he cares for us. (I Peter 5: 7). Worry can do you more damage than good.

The Lord Jesus Christ asked us this question: 'Which of you by worrying can add a single hair to his life?' I want to ask you a question - how will your worrying produce that child which you desire?

Many couples reading this article can testify that their worrying about this problem has not in any way helped them. The Bible says that, 'A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body.' (Proverbs 14: 30)

The Bible says: 'A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.'

Just from these two Bible passages you can see that worry destroys the body system. A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body.

So when worry sets in, it starts to destroy the life of the body. It releases toxins into the body. Worry breeds more worry until one is almost going out of one's mind because of it. The Bible says that it breaks the spirit.

Once a man's spirit is broken he is finished. The body becomes weak. The mind starts to play games. The body system becomes clogged up, and many organs in the body are affected.

But God has a solution. Jesus says we should cast all our problems on him because he cares. But most of the time we do not know how to cast our burdens on the Lord, so we keep on carrying it.

This should not be so. Today we will pray and ask God for the strength to cast our cares upon him, because we believe that he really cares for us.

The Holy Spirit told me that worry and anxiety lead to infertility because the body system is not relaxed and a baby needs a relaxed atmosphere to implant itself in the womb.

Please stop worrying and cast all your cares upon the Lord. God really cares for you and will surely bless you if you stop worrying and trust Him for all your needs.

Now say a prayer:

I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. From today I choose not to worry any more.

Now say to Him, Lord you said I should not worry about my life, what I will eat; or about my body, what I will wear. From today I make up my mind not to worry any more about infertility. I ask you ,Oh God to bless me now with a child of my own, so that my joy will be full. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him. Today I shout for joy. I say the Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Saviour! For I know for sure that I am blessed and soon I will carry my own child in my own arms in Jesus name. Amen.

I'm doing things differently in the New Year!  For a start, I'm not going to undertake a million and one things with deadlines impossible to keep (though I suspect my interest in new projects will get the better of me).   Many amazing and interesting things in this world grab my attention, making it easy for me to get sidetracked.

My intention for the New Year is to transcend all previous successes and achieve things previously not considered.  I'm curious to know where it will lead me (there's that sidetracking issue again).  It's a scary thought but exciting all at once.

Yes, next year sure will be different and amazing.

If you've come through a year filled with boredom, sameness, heartache, yearning, and wish life to be different then consider whether it's now time for you to give yourself a stern talking to about creating change for your highest good.

Some questions you could ask are:

Are you willing to repeat this year, next year?

Has the past year provided you with contentment, happiness, success and new friendships?

If yes to the last statement, congratulations!  Some years are like that, absolutely fabulous years where you wouldn't change for the world for anything – if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If the statement is not true, ask:

How are you going to change things?

Do you have strategies in place that will ensure you become successful in your endeavors?

Are you thinking this is another ho hum time of the year when arbitrary New Year's resolutions are made?

Maybe all you want is to go with the flow, and that's okay if deep down that's what you truly want.
What if you motivated challenged or dared you, not by others, by you only?

There have been many times when I've dared myself to do things I wouldn't normally do and have never looked back.  That's when I become comfortable with the uncomfortable, for a short while anyway.

Anyone can dare themselves to achieve greatness and it might just be what's needed to kick start the New Year.  You never know where it can lead you.

I've listed 7 Dares to choose from should you motivate and dare yourself into initiating an action designed to change your next 12 months in the most amazing way.  They are:

1. Dare to be different.

2. Dare to discover who you really are.

3. Dare to let go of the past.

4. Dare to step out of your comfort zone.

5. Dare to ask more questions on how YOU do business.

6. For those on the dating scene - date only those that respect all parts of who you are and accept nothing less.

7. Dare to achieve more.

It's possible one or more points above will resonate with you, in which case write down your preferred challenge in a journal or diary and keep note of how your dare is going.  Include who, what, where and when you needed a little external guidance.  This will enable you to reflect on your journey as you prepare for the New Year next year.

The road toward contentment, happiness, and success is often challenging, which makes it all the more scary yet exciting – you'll really know you're alive then!  The upshot is that you achieve what you set out to do, and you can tell the world you did it your way

What I love about studying the Bible is that I am always curious and hungry to learn more. I am a firm believer that people should spend their lives doing things of value that they deeply enjoy. So when the change came for me to further my education with seminary I jumped at it. Just a few months into my classes, the Bible search tools that I have been taught have by far been the most valuable source of new knowledge that I have discovered.

Are you curious to learn more about the Bible? Perhaps you are taking a Bible class or are just wanting to learn for your own benefit. It doesn't matter why you want to know more, it simply matters that you can know more by doing a Bible search or two on the information you are seeking. I love that a Bible search can both satisfy my curiousity and yet leave me desiring more knowledge. What a great thing!

A Bible search can happen in many ways. There are many great tools to be used, but by far some of the best can be found in libraries, at bookshops, or even on the internet. Basically, a Bible search is done whenever a learner uses tools to try to gain more knowledge about a particular passage or theme in Scripture. The Bible search doesn't have to be official, it simply has to be helpful in teaching you more about the Bible.

If you are curious about learning more about a Bible search tool or two, find someone to talk with. This may mean talking with a pastor or setting up a time to meet with a Bible professor at a local college. Do whatever you can to be proactive about doing a Bible search to do more. You will be so glad that you did and the knowledge you learn will be the most helpful thing in the world for you and your future.

The direct translation of the word "clairvoyance" is "clear sight".It is defined as the ability to perceive or even see with the "mind's eye" something that is going on in a remote location without any previous knowledge of the event. Most paranormal professionals and enthusiasts believe that psychic ability resides (albeit unlocked) within every human being. Their belief is that most people do not tap into their clairvoyance because they are either too unaware or unwilling to unveil it, and that it takes perseverance to develop one's own personal psychic abilities. In other words, everyone has a second sight but it has to be awakened. Don't worry – you don't have to obtain a tarot reading or call a psychic phone reading line. It just takes some introspection.

There are two basic types of clairvoyant abilities – voluntary and involuntary. Voluntary clairvoyance is generally seen as a good, positive thing whereas involuntary is usually considered dark, negative, and possibly even dangerous. Most psychics maintain that voluntary clairvoyance is obtained through good, healthy, and generous living, plus the willingness to reach deep within one's own psyche and see invisible things. Involuntary clairvoyance is forced upon its victim, and the person has no control over when and where it happens. In this state, the involuntarily clairvoyant person is generally believed to be open to malevolent spiritual influences and may face the danger of being totally possessed by a malicious being.

Many people trying to develop their clairvoyant abilities tend to assume that once they have had a breakthrough, they will now know everything that is going to happen for the rest of their lives. Learned psychics urge: This is not the truth! It takes caution and proper cultivation of the psychic abilities to have a healthy connection to the unseen world. It is also important not to push your limits or the limits of the unseen energy surrounding you. People who study the paranormal insist that to do so is to play with fire and possibly invite dark influences into your life. These people usually put it something like this: In the physical world, things are not as subject to change as they are in the unseen world or – as some call it – the world of desires. Because of this, professional clairvoyants and studiers of the paranormal world insist that people serious about developing their clairvoyance be trained before they try anything too advanced.

Many parapsychologists suggest that human beings are born clairvoyant and most remain so at least for the first year of life. Dependent on his or her environment and his or her own development of personal spirituality, the child may maintain this increased level of sensitivity or see it diminish, if not disappear entirely. These psychics suggest that it takes positive clairvoyance to truly and accurately interpret the unseen world, and warn against the accidental cultivation of negative energy and involuntary or negative clairvoyance that invite negativity and evil influences into the lives of everyone involved.

Clairaudience is a similar type of psychic ability, except that it entails hearing things that are otherwise invisible or inaudible to other people. Considered by many psychics to be the voices of spirits in another world, most people claim to hear the voices in their minds or "inside" their heads, rather than through their physical ears – although some claim to hear as though it were from the physical world, despite the lack of a sensory source.
